Ex-pat's Pat's: Week 8 (with updates)

Well, two possessions and I'm not very impressed with our offense. In all fairness Miami had Brady's pass to Gronk dialed-in and made a slick interception (I think Patterson used Gronk's size against him to brilliantly come inside on him). But, what the hell just happened after Blount's good run?

Update 1: Well, so far I think the Pats are doing a good job modelling this year's Halloween costumes against the Dolphins. Brings me back to the good old days when Miami owned us every season.

Update 2: Fingers crossed for Vollmer.  Could hear his screaming in pain all too clear on the TV.

Update 3: Pats probably did right taking that knee in last seconds of the first half; however, I just can't help feeling the team has been on one continual taking of the knee the entire half with the one really good break coming off a questionable pass interference call on Miami. I guess I've been spoiled by too many years of this offense being so formidable.

Fingers crossed for the second half...

Update 4: What the hell Dobson? You should've had that pass. One thing that just seems obvious on each close-up is that there just doesn't seem to be any fire in Brady's eyes. If we've lost our quarterback...

Update 5: Finally, some  good action and lucky breaks! Good sack on Tannehill and thank god for a breeze! Nice run by Ridley and let's see more of this please...

Touch Down! Okay, there's the drive, spirit, and fire! Good play and catch when it counts, Dobson!

Update 6: Yeehaw! Good job by Ryan forcing that fumble. More of this, please

Update 7: Sorry, Phil Simms, Dobson was pushed down and it was a good call. Okay, up by 3 when it could've been by 7. Bad break on that holding call on Solder. Keep up the pressure...

Update 8: Good bit of volley ball between McCourty and Cole.

Blocked Kick! Keep it going...

Update 9: And... about two knees and it's done. The Pats... Everytime I get depressed and write them off (think Brady interception by New Orleans with two minutes to go) and they find a way to capitalize and surprise me.

Yeah, I'll gladly eat crow from my thoughts at the start of the second half...

...And it tastes great!
