Ex-Pat's Pats 2014: Week 1

Okay, here we go! Almost opening kick-off for the part of the season that really matters! Lotsa new faces and lotsa new hopes. Little bit I did get to follow in the preseason, I gotta say I liked the looks of Jimmy Garoppolo. Maybe a good long-term prospect for the team?

So, do you all think Revis Island will have a Super Bowl trophy planted in it at the end of the season?

Will be interesting at the office this year as I'm working with two lovely ladies, one each from Buffalo and Miami. If Tebow was still playing for the Jets, Darth Wrighteous (another coworker and trap shooting buddy) would be rooting for them and making for the complete AFC East in our office.

And that blocked punt does not help. Not does that Miami TD. Crap! Not happy but not worried...

Update: and Grink merely falls and gains almost two yards ;)

And Pats drive in for TD as I type!!! I think first bumbles were just jitters.

Update: looks like Miami wanted Mayo with that fumble. Freaking good job of Brady keeping his feet under pressure!

Update: was just thinking that I'm thinking the Pats' offense is looking spot-on, so far, but the defense seems a little holy... Was thinking it and watching Tannehill's awesome long bomb... only to see Dennard come up with the pick!

The 2nd Half: wow, this has been unfortunate turnabout. Almost wonder if the offense tired out in the first half? Big holes opening among the defense that are making it too easy for Miami.

Update: well, crap, that was a stupid, costly penalty. Gotta go get ready to head out to Gun Club for Trap. Will have to try and follow game off the phone for the last quarter...
