Poor Touchy, Troubled Tamerlan

Poor boy. Yeah, apparently there's folks going there, as well.

I'm sick of this not offending the sensibilities of wanton murderers sh!t. Call a f#<king spade a f#<king spade and be done with it. Or, as Rachel Lucas puts it:
Well. How dare the world?

Look, this young man simply wanted to helpfully cure you hicks of your goofy baseless prejudices about his oppressed religion, by blowing up a little boy and a bunch of other people. He did his faith a huge favor last week, a great big huge explosively helpful favor, and now I think we’re all on the same page: we’re done picturing Islam as a violent religion, yes? Surely those days are behind us at last, thanks to the brave heroics of one Mr. Tamerlan Tsarnaev.

Habemus Papam!

I'm not a Catholic and, not necessarily even a practicing Christian. That said, I do pretty much respect the faiths of all who respect others.

On that note, I would just like to extend some congratulations to the Catholic faithful on the conclusion of a successful conclave.

Across Time, Space & Lives - Weekend Earworms: 03/09/21013

I'm going to do a double-shot for this Saturday's Earworm. With the looming of spring, here's couple of songs that have always drawn me in to think of turning along the karmic wheel, experiencing different lives, and possibly experiencing the same love over and again...

First-up, we try to bridge our secret separations amongst the loss and rediscovery of love:
We are matching spark and flame
Caught in endless repetition
Life for life we'll be the same
I must leave before you burn me
I am the stranger who deserts you only to love you
In another life

And then, we see the passing of souls... In the Celtic tradition, death is not an end but a door. We pass into slumber from one life, one state of being, to awaken into another. Yeah, you probably guessed it:
Lightning crashes, a new mother cries
Her placenta falls to the floor
The angel opens her eyes
The confusion sets in
Before the doctor can even close the door

Lightning crashes, an old mother dies
Her intentions fall to the floor
The angel closes her eyes
The confusion that was hers
Belongs now, to the baby down the hall

Oh now feel it comin' back again
Like a rollin' thunder chasing the wind
Forces pullin' from the center of the earth again
I can feel it
