So, we have three of us in the family (my brother, nephew, and myself) who've all prophesied this weekend as it unfolded (Colts over Chiefs, Chargers over Bengals). Two see it as a bad prophesy (Colts will take everything). One of us foresaw this and is not worried at all.
I'm not afraid of the Colts coming to New England. They're typically a big, fearsome flash at Lucas Oil Stadium, but I don't feel they'll be as fearsome on the road. Despite a lot of my reservations this year, if the Pats decide to show-up, I think they'll easily put the horsies back into the corral.
In all honesty, the Chargers worry me more. They're scrappy, they've often had Manning's number when playing him as both a Colt and Bronco, and are very good at playing the spoiler. Like the Ravens last year, I worry that if they beat the "Team-to-Beat," they'll come into Gillette with a lot of momentum.
We shall see...
